All Wrapped Up

I finished and e-filed our taxes last night! So much easier this year than last year. We owned our own business for about 4 years and it was a nightmare doing taxes for those years. I loved it this year. Just plug in the numbers and I'm done. AND we're getting a HUGE return. Nothing better than that.....

Snow Day

Aurora and Jesse enjoyed a rare snow day here in Delaware yesterday. It snowed even more last night and they went back out again. I don't know how they can stand to be outside as long as they do....I'd have lost a couple toes already, I think. But they seem to be just fine. This is a real treat here in Delaware, but hopefully they will get a lot more snow days next winter in Utah!!

A New Tag Game!!

I've been tagged again for a different game. These tag games are pretty fun! It's interesting to learn more about my friends.

Rules:
1. Choose a folder where you store your pictures.
2. Select the 4th picture in that folder.
3. Explain that picture.
4. Tag 4 People.
5. No Cheating (cropping, editing, etc.)

So here is mine.... This is a picture of my daughter, Aurora, and her cousin, (Marsha's daughter) Abby, at Grandma R's house in WV. Aurora was 2 at the time and she LOVED playing in the pool. Oh, the memories!

People to Tag: Becca, Mindy, Molly, Alisa

Baby Surgery

My youngest has to have surgery to open her blocked tear duct! She's had the blocked duct since she was born and since she's 14-months old now, I guess they have decided that it isn't going to go away on its own. I'm not too nervous about it. I know they perform this op all the time on little kids. However, the doctor said that they did have to put her asleep though....kinda nervous about that. We go in for presurgical testing in a few weeks. Guess I better get a babysitter on speed dial for the next few weeks. Do you think I could send a sign-up sheet around Relief Society?

When Will It End?

As a mother of 3 little kids, I'm in a constant state of embarrassment. Today I had to take one of my kids to the opthamologist (and of course, we ALL had to go). Jesse hasn't learned that he shouldn't pick his nose, especially in public. So, sitting in the dilation area, I tried to quietly tell him to stop picking his nose, to which he turned around, and, in front of 7 other people said, "I don't need any help picking my boogers, Mommy. I'm old enough to do it all by myself!" I was mortified.....Would everyone believe that I'd been picking his nose up to this point and that now he was exerting his independence from parental picking? Oh, when does the humiliation end? Do your kids really EVER stop embarrassing you?

Fashion Show

My kids decided to play upstairs for a while this afternoon. Aurora came down the stairs announcing, "This is our world famous fashion show by Aurora and Jesse!!!" This is what they looked like after sauntering down the stairs....

Should I be alarmed that my little boy is wearing girl shoes? I think my husband is.... HA! HA!

Dinner Time

Jesse LOVES Ramen noodles. Only problem is, most of the noodles are longer than he is tall (a minor exaggeration)!! So, I mentioned to my hubbie how funny it was to watch Jesse eat them and since he isn't here to see it, I thought I'd upload a little movie of the "awesome" event. Enjoy!! And don't laugh too loud in the library, honey!
